Gurjiwan Singh Brar
Gurjiwan Singh is the founder of GS Brar Law. He focuses on occupiers’ liability, product liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle accident claims, and defamation. As a litigator, Gurjiwan Singh regularly attends examinations for discovery, mediations, pre-trial conferences, and motions before the Superior Court of Justice. In addition to his litigation work, Gurjiwan Singh has a passion for helping charities, non-profits, and business start-ups get off the ground and make an impact in their communities.
Outside of his legal practice, Gurjiwan Singh has over a decade of experience in the charity and non-profit sector. He serves the community through the Experience Sikhi Organization and contributes to charitable projects dedicated to environmentalism, promoting diversity, and serving the less fortunate. In particular, he enjoys helping students achieve success and, accordingly, is a volunteer for the Sikhia Career Development Retreat and Sikhia Mentor Database.
Before GS Brar Law, Gurjiwan Singh obtained his law degree from Queen’s University and practiced at a leading plaintiff side litigation firm in Toronto. His hobbies include reading non-fiction (recommendation: Good to Great by Jim Collins and How Will You Measure Your Life by Clayton Christensen), cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, and keeping an eye on the latest political developments.
